Strangely enough - and totally coincidentally (unless Lee Binding, who designed the covers, has a secret plan) it seems to be a visual sequel to the cover of Relative Dementias, my first novel.

Nice. As there are now too many of these things to tell them apart from publicity shot/colour alone, they seem to be getting more inventive with the main images. And Paul Magrs gets the specsquee on his cover, the lucky sod!
Mark
I was about to say "no specsquee for Mxx?".
I'm getting Power of Kroll sequel, how wrong is my head?
Nice cover Mxx - Paul's is OK and Mark Morris' one is rubbish, but they're all better than the first tranche of NSAs.
And Mxx may not get the specsquee but he does get the nicer of the two suits.
Which is something (probably).
Yes, Mxx's has the nicest cover. And luckily this time round, they haven't put anything in that you had to then work into the story :)*
*I am remembering right about RD, aren't I?
Oh yes - the lightning on the TARDIS wasn't originally there but I added a line mentioning it after the cover was done.
And in this one, I've had to go through and change references to his suit colour!

Now, that's attention to detail. You should get extra credit for that :)
Hi, Mark.
Well, I'm well pissed off. Just found out I could have met you last night at Borders if I'd known....anyway, wanted to say I loved Wetworld. Talking otters, how crazy is that? And I think you captured Ten's verbal gymnastics better than any of the other New Series writers I've sampled.
I hope they give you another New Adventures gig sometime.
Any chance you'll be at Paul Cornell's round table at Manchester LitFest on Oct 14 - if so, I'll look out for you and say hi.

Awww, cheers Ruth! Thanks for the loveliness!! As it turns out, I didn't make it to the Manc Borders event 'cos of an awful cough and general poorliness. The Paul Cornell thingy...? Is that the discussion panel in Manc on Sunday 16th? About SF and DW? If so - yay! I should be there, yes, so come and say hello!! :))
Mxx
I just wanted to tell you that you did a fantastic job wit Wetworld. It's my second favorite Who book, right next to The Resurrection Casket by Justin Richards. I especially love how you captured the Doctor and Martha's relationship. You're a wonderfully talented person, and I hope you go very, very far in your career!
Goodness, is that a year already since the last time you posted anything on here? My my, how time flies when you're busy sowing up the market in Doctor Who spin-offery... :)
